The Proraso Shaving Cream in a Tube undergoes a rigorous 'hot soap'-making process, maturing for 3 days, resulting in a rich soap that, with a brush, produces a thick, creamy lather for a close, comfortable shave. The process leaves the skin soft and hydrated.

To use, soak the Proraso brush in hot water for 5 – 10 minutes, applying a warm towel to the face to open the pores. Apply Proraso Pre-Shave Cream, and another hot towel for 15 to 20 seconds. Squeeze out excess water from the brush, leaving it mostly wet, then squeeze 2cm of Proraso Shave Cream between the bristles. Dip the brush into hot water and apply the cream to facial hair in circular motion, creating a creamy and compact lather for a pleasant shave.

For those short on time, Proraso Pre-Shave Cream can be applied to a damp face for optimal results. A shaving brush can be run under hot water for 30 seconds. Apply 2cm of Shaving Cream to the brush, dampen face with warm water, and work into facial hair for about a minute. Alternatively, work cream and water together in the palms of your hands. Shave and rinse, and apply Proraso After Shave Balm or Lotion.
